Processors like the Qualcomm® Kryo™ 385 CPU integrated in the Snapdragon® 845 Mobile Platform are based on Arm’s big.LITTLE architecture, which consists of “big” high performance cores for process intensive tasks, and “little” power efficient cores for less intensive tasks. The goal is to provide a flexible package for mobile devices that dynamically balances processing demands with power efficiency both at the operating system and application levels.
With all the work you’ve put into making your extended reality (XR) projects in Unity as immersive as you can, don’t you want audio that keeps up? After all, your users’ eyes are basking in six degrees of freedom (6DoF); shouldn’t their ears get the same thrill? The game looks different when they turn their head or move their eyes, and it should sound different, too.
Hackathons, mixers and contests like the Snapdragon® VR Dev Challenge are great ways to hone your coding skills, break new ground and swap ideas with your peers. And they’re even more fun when you win. Just ask E McNeill, who took first place in the competition we sponsored to create a mind-blowing Extended Reality (XR, including AR and VR) experience powered by Qualcomm Technologies.
