TurboX SDW4100 Development Kit
Speed up the development of your wearable product prototypes — watches, glasses, trackers, headsets — with the TurboX SDW4100 development kit from Thundercomm.
Built around the Snapdragon Wear™ 4100 platform, the kit runs the TurboX Wear software pack. It supports the main functions of wearable devices based on Android and includes an accelerometer, a gyroscope and a PPG heart rate sensor, plus support for other sensors through MIPI, SPI and IIC interfaces.
You can take advantage of built-in algorithms for step counting, calorie estimation, sleep tracking, fall detection and general sports and fitness, and extend the kit for other algorithms. Your connectivity options are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2/LE, NFC and the cellular bands of North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
At the heart of the development kit is the Snapdragon Wear 4100 platform, made for 85% higher performance compared to the Snapdragon Wear 3100 platform. That means your users can enjoy faster app launches, more responsive UX and richer photo and video with a quad-core A53 processor delivering up to 1.7 GHz. Also in the platform are the Qualcomm® Adreno™ 504 GPU, dual Qualcomm® Hexagon™ DSPs, and dual ISPs that support up to 16-megapixel cameras.
Use the TurboX SDW4100 development kit to develop your next line of low-power, high-performance wearables, including smartwatches, children’s watches and smart trackers.
