The international embedded computing community marked its 20th anniversary with this year’s Embedded World conference in Nuremberg. At our booth, innovative companies from around the globe exhibited reference designs and commercial products built around hardware and software from Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. (QTI). In this post, I will describe some of the demos of interest to developers.

The World Health Organization reports that over 50% of vaccines worldwide are wasted. Millions of doses of vaccines are discarded because they have not been stored at the correct temperature as they are moved along the cold chain. If at any point during the journey it gets a little too hot or a little too cold, the vaccine must be thrown away.
As the car becomes more connected, it is poised to play a growing role in the consumer digital experience. Electric and autonomous vehicles give developers the chance to explore the opportunities that come with having a completely new digital and electronics architecture. Those opportunities include advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), assisted driving (AD), greater vehicle safety, cloud-connected digital services, and personalized, in-car experiences.
