Good afternoon,

We have previously ordered and have now received our CSR1025 Development Kit (DK-CSR1025-10280-1A). However, even after successfully registering the Authorisation Key we still have difficulties accessing the relevant SDK. It goes like this…

Following the link in the printed “Setup Guide” that came with the CSR102x DK, "https://developer.qualcomm.com/csr102x/tools", returns “We're sorry. The page you're looking for can't be found” error page. Not very helpful.

So, searching for “IoT Development Kit” and following the link "https://developer.qualcomm.com/hardware/csr102x/iot-development-kit" I select the “Access to Qualcomm Bluetooth low energy SDK” link, but it returns the “Error: You do not have the necessary privileges to view this category” page.

Following links to "https://developer.qualcomm.com/hardware/csr101x/csrmesh-development-kit/...", I can follow step (1) fine and downloaded the “Qualcomm Bluetooth Low Energy SDK Installer” using the activation code, no problem. From the documentation this would appear to cover the CSR102x DevKit (DK-CSR1025-10280-1A). However…

I can’t follow step (2) as it doesn’t tell me where to download the CSRMesh Quick Start Guide from. Searching the web site for “CSRMesh Quick Start Guide” doesn’t lead to any such guide apart from telling me it’s included in the CSRMesh SDK (not the IoT SDK).

Bizarrely, I can follow the links for the CSR101x development kit at "https://developer.qualcomm.com/hardware/csr101x/csrmesh-development-kit/..." and, using the CSR102x Dev. Kit activation code, I can download the CSR101x Application Notes for some of the applications but no links to any source code examples. Downloading those AN’s and then following the links within them to where the source code should be (https://www.csrsupport.com/uEnergy/Software) gives “Error: You do not have the necessary privileges to view this category” page.

There does not appear to be a valid link "https://developer.qualcomm.com/hardware/csr102x/csrmesh-development-kit/...", so no joy there.

Following the links to the CSR102x Product Family-> IOT Development, selecting the CSRmesh example applications link "https://www.csrsupport.com/CSRmesh" results in another “Error: You do not have the necessary privileges to view this category” page.

So, after two hours of trying I have no example application source code for the AN’s that I did find, and no AN’s or source code for CSR Beacon or CSR Proxy Beacon examples.

Any ideas ?

JT

Hi John,

Thanks for your feedback on the web pages for CSR102X. We have now fixed the pages and you can find:

The SDK for CSR102X here:

https://developer.qualcomm.com/hardware/csr102x/iot-development-kit/soft...

The Example applications sources here:

https://developer.qualcomm.com/hardware/csr102x/iot-development-kit/csrm...

And the App notes here:

https://developer.qualcomm.com/hardware/csr102x/iot-development-kit/exam...

Hi Amos

Have the links for the hardware data (schematics, BoMs, etc.) been fixed. The links on the web site still appear to be broken.

I assume this is the same issue that Brian Nickol (bnickol) has on the forum ?

John

I have the DK-CSR1010-10184-1 Development kit which comes with an activation code.

Previously I downloaded and installed the SDK.  I need to re-create that environment and now I can't find a place to download the development environment.

The link: https://developer.qualcomm.com/hardware/csr101x/csrmesh-development-kit/... just has plain text, no links to actual software.  Where is the software located?  (yes, I am logged in).

This appears to be a problem as Qualcomm migrates from csrsupport.com to QDN. We are checking with the admins and I will advise here with any updates.

Certainly I appreciate the need to get the links working on the website.  In the interem, I'd like to get to work.  Where can I get the SDK and IDE install files?  I have code that needs to be recompiled.

Can you try to download the SDK from https://developer.qualcomm.com/hardware/csr101x/csrmesh-development-kit/..., click on CSR1010 SDK Installer link. You will need to register at CreatePoint. Please post here if you encounter problems.

Hi abarak,

unfortunately the links on the webpage seem to be dead again.

Whenever I try to access any of the application notes or example applications, I get

CreatePoint has encountered an unknown error (HTTP 500)

The resource you are trying to access is unavailable. If you continue to encounter this error after verifying the URL is correct, we'd like to learn more about how you got here. Please use the Support tab above for assistance or the Contact Us link in the footer

  • Any reference to this document that led you here (mention in another document, colleague, etc.)
  • Other information that led you to this point

If the Support tab is unavailable please use the Contact Us link in the footer.

Can you check if the links are still working?

Sincerely,

Encountering the same problem here. No working Source Code available for the IoT-Dev Board (102x Family).

Especially this site would be incredibly helpful if the links would work:
https://developer.qualcomm.com/hardware/csr102x/iot-development-kit/csrm...

In some introductions the "Lights"-app is featured, yet I couldn't get the code for the board anywhere yet.
If there is a working download link to that, it would be highly apprechiated.
