QCA4012 5Ghz Connection problem

Dear All

Two 4012 modules are being tested.
 * REF : SP242 Dev Kit
 * CUS : QCA4012 Custom module
In the same F/W, CUS module is not connected to 5GHz AP ( 149, 153, 157, 161  Channel )
 * 5Ghz 36 ~ 48 Channel connecting is fine.
 * Problem with 5Ghz 149~161 channel only.
 * REF module has no problem on all channels.
Which parts shoud I check?

QCA4012 board(SP241/242) works in both 2.4G and 5G channels.

Need to flash dual band fw image of 1bit flash or 4bit flash.
Ex : raw_flashimage_AR401X_REV6_IOT_hostless_unidev_dualband_1bitflash.bin 

Have you tried with multiple QCA4012 boards? or  issue observed with a particualr board?

As you are able to connect to lower 5G channels (ch: 36~48), Make sure the uppper 5G channels are not over crowded.

The problem only occurs on the custom board.

My F/W image is as follows.

  - raw_flashimage_AR401X_REV6_IOT_hostless_unidev_dualband.bin 

How do I set up 1bitflash or 4bitflash?

Hi ,

Can you please let me know what is regulatory domain you have set ?Also do you able to scan AP on 149-161 AP. Please use wmiconfig --scan command to get the scan results. Also share your sniffer capture while trying to connect.
