I am connecting a M.2 PCIe card to the RB5 kit through an adapter board - the interface is PCIe Port 2.

HS2-19 (GPIO 85)  PCIE2_RST_N

HS2-21 (GPIO 86) PCIE2_CLK_REQ_N

HS2-23 (GPIO 87) PCIE2_WAKE_N  (not connected)

HS3-14, HS3-16     PCIE2_REFCLK_M, PCIE2_REFCLK_P

HS3-18, HS3-20     PCIE2_RX0_M, PCIE2_RX0_P

HS3-22, HS3-24     PCIE2_RX1_M, PCIE2_RX1_P

HS3-26, HS3-28     PCIE2_TX0_M, PCIE2_TX0_P

HS3-30, HS3-32     PCIE2_TX1_M, PCIE2_TX1_P

 
CLK_REQ_N is pull-down 
We don't use Wake.
 
PCIE2_RSTN is currently held low -  putting our device in RESET.
 
The PCIE2 port appears to be in power-down / disabled.
 
How do we enable PCIE2 port and start enumeration?

Hi,

Based on your description, it looks like the connections are correct.
It may be that a driver is missing to start the communication. I'll try to find out if the PCIE drivers were included with the latest release.

can you share rb5 adapter board for pcie/m.2 adapter or where one could purchase?

checked with hardware engineers, you may buy pcie/m.2 adaptor any where.  Can you try to serach at Amzon, best buy online

Hi,

There are many M.2 NVME pcie USB to M.2 adapters. But we need to test the RB5 PCIe x 2 interface  to M.2 NVME which is only available on the 60 pin RB5 connector.  If the RB% had a standard PCIe  connector, this would have been best, but it does not.
