Most support for MV is via this forum. Over time, we plan to build up documentation at this site as well. The latest version (1.1.4) includes sample application code for each technology that get installed into /usr/share/mv and prebuilt versions of those applications are installed into /usr/bin as well.
For your specific project, starting with integrating mvDFT might be the closest to the PX4 optical flow cameras that PX4 is currently integrate with. After or instead of that, one can move to full 6-DOF tracking via mvVISLAM.
