I'm trying to find out the FPS of some apps running on my Nexus 6 (with snapdragon 805). But it seems that Snapdragon Profiler failed to do so: I didn't find the "EGL" option after clicking my process. And I'm quite sure that these apps use OpenGL ES to render the frames (actually they are AR apps).
Anyone can help to find out the FPS of these apps? Really appreciate that.
Is there anyone can help? It's quite important to me now. Any other suggestions to get FPS of foreground apps are also appreciated.
Hi,
Please make sure you are not launching your app until after you have connected Snapdragon Profiler to your device. If you've already run your app, make sure it is completely terminated (not just idle in the background) before connecting Profiler. This is a requirement for all OpenGL ES related functionality.
If that doesn't solve your problem, you can send us more information using the Sumbit Feedback option under the Help menu. After connecting Snapdragon Profiler to your device and running your app, select that option and follow the instructions. That will help us debug your issue.
