Snapdragon Profiler v1.3 is Now Available!

Snapdragon Profiler v1.3 is now available. Download the latest Snapdragon Profiler to access new updates, including:

  • - Added timeline calipers to Realtime and Trace, allowing the user to mark and measure time on the timeline
  • - Added Realtime DSP metrics for Snapdragon 820
  • - Added App Marker library, allowing developers to markup their application events and regions to appear in a Trace capture
  • - Added OpenGL ES multi-context support to GPU Stages metric in Trace and context selection in Snapshot. Requires an updated graphics driver.
  • - Added flush reasons for GPU Stages
  • - Added pixel location and thumbnail to pixel history in Snapshots
  • - Added moving average settings to Realtime graphs, selectable through the Setting button in the metric track
  • - Added CPU Load metric to Realtime, providing an approximation of actual workload based on the utilization of each core at its current frequency
  • - Fixed crashes on Snapshot replay with certain devices using Android
  • - Fixed Views not populating with data if they are enabled after a capture
  • - Fixed percentage metrics showing values beyond 100% for some apps
  • - Fixed crash when trying to capture WebGL in Chrome
  • - Fixed Trace data zoom on capture, now zooming to extents by default
  • - Fixed OpenCL data corruption in Source Viewer
  • - Fixed OpenCL crash when certain metrics are enabled
  • - Fixed DSP crash on device with unsupported chips
  • - Fixed OSX device connectivity issues
  • - Fixed binning not working after Snapshot

Snapdragon profiler can monitor the EGL apps FPS, that is good. 

An suggestion
please prompt a hint for user the set the adb path during installation,

In case user never install Android SDK on his PC, and the enviroment path not include a path can find the adb.exe. 

I found many users in my company forget the set the enviroment path with adb paths, just waiting the device to appear on CONNECT menu, but user always said, my adb works so well, but Snapdragon profiler never...

Thank you for sharing the profiler. Can it be used for Snapdragon 650?
