In Getting Started -> System Requirement of the website, it indicates that "1. Install Ubuntu 14.04 (recommended), for example on a virtual machine."

Just wondering how could this SNPE SDK work on a "virtual machine"? Does it do CPU/GPU/DSP simulation?

I would assume you need to have at least a HW platform with SD835+ or something like that to have SNPD SDK to work.

Please advise.

SNPE is designed for Qualcomm Hw devices, but the SDK does have a CPU version that runs on x86 CPUs running ubuntu.
