We are working on improving the support of the SDK across multiple targets and OSs. The inputs provided by You, and other users on the thread are very helpful in guiding us on these places.
The SDK is targeting Android (aarch64-linux) and Embedded Linux (arm-linux) on ARM processors. It has been tested to work on a wide range of Android devices, and a few Linux devices. Unfortunately, different OEMs sometimes select to restrict their platforms, or modify the OS in ways which makes it hard for SNPE to fully operate across the different targets (CPU, GPU, DSP) on these platforms. These "fluctuations" are more common in Linux than in Android, which makes Linux support more challenging. Yet, we are working on identifying these cases, and improve support in them.
There is also x86_64-linux support, but it is intended more as a helping tool for development - allow developers to experiment with SNPE API and test DLCs on the common development platforms (desktops/workstations running x64 processors).
Thanks for clarification. That helps.
