Since NPE SDK now only support Ubuntu, is there any plan to support Windows? If yes, when?

thanks.

Thanks for your interest in the Snapdragon Neural Processing Engine. It is our policy to not discuss our roadmap in the forums; however, we are always looking at improving our product and we will take your input into account. In the meantime, you can experiment using virtual machines with an Ubuntu installation for the model conversion, and develop on your environment for the Android APP.

If the converted .dlc model is already created on Ubuntu, is it possible to build Android application on Windows by including snpe-release.aar in the project and dependencies?

Yes, that should be possible. One can build Android APK with SNPE artifact dependecies using Android SDK on Windows.

While I was able to build the sample app on Ubuntu without any problems, it was crashing on launch if I build it on Windows using the .dlc model.

Thanks for update. The DLC file is build platform independent. Building examaple app on Windows is possible, we have done it in the past and were able to run the apk on device. Windows is not our officially supported development host platform though. In this case it seem it may to do with your Android SDK environment and/or project setup differences on Windows. What is the Android SDK version on Windows vs. Linux?
