I have a similar issue when logging in to the GUI of QPM V3 it has same  text but code 5, "An unexpected error occurred connecting to Qualcomm servers. Please check your internet connection. : 5QPM V1 still works fine

EDIT: a newer version of QPM V3 resolved the issue

I'm also encountering this issue:
