May I install MV SDK (mv_1.2.10_845.ipk or mv_1.2.10_865.ipk) on Intrinsyc 855 HDK? I cannot find MV SDK for 855.

I am unaware if anyone has tried that.  You are correct that we have not yet made a specific 855 release.  My guess is that the 865 package (mv_1.2.10_865.ipk) might work but I would love to hear if either worked.  Please keep in mind that the 845 build is a 32-bit build.  So, if you use that one, you will want to use the 32-bit compiler or apropos options.

Thanks to gmcgrath. I will try "mv_1.2.10_865.ipk" first. In MV Quick Start Guide (1.1 Board Setup): "For Snapdragon Flight boards with an OS version of 3.1.3.1 or earlier, ..." But the OS of my 855 HDK is different. Should I follow the instructions in the Quick Start Guide? In the download web page, it states: "The MV SDK has the following minimum dependencies: Platform image from Intrinsyc Flight_x.y.z_JFlash.zip Flight controller add-on from Intrinsyc Flight_x.y.z_qcom_flight_controller_hexagon_sdk_add_on.zip" Should I ignore these dependencies or flash my 855 HDK?

I apologize that our documentation has gotten so old.  The 3.1.3.1 OS version comment only applies to 8074 based platforms.  So, please ignore.  The Flight_*.zip files only applied to 8074 platforms (e.g., the "Snapdragon Flight" board but not the "Snapdragon Fligh Pro" which is 8096 based).  So, please ignore as well.

Trying to get the 865 or 845 version to run on the 855 is uncharted waters so you can pretty much ignore any documentation :-)

Thanks to gmcgrath. It seems to be risky on 855 HDK, but I will try it. Suggest Qualcomm updating the documents for new platforms.
