MSDC/Embms startup.

Hi,

Chipset: MSM8998

Build Id: LA.UM.5.7.r1-08400-8x98.0-1

1. We follow the document "80-P7491-1_C_LTE_Broadcast_Middleware_Installation_Guide_Release_3.6.pdf" to install MSDC apk.
After we push system/app/embms/embms.apk, system/etc/permissions/embms.xml, the MSDC_UI.apk(LTE Broadcast UI, version:MSDC_LA_3.6.06.09.0) can connect to Embms service. 

2. But we don't have DASH client on device now, after I ask qualcomm by SR#02933024, the partner told me that for 8998 those files have been removed and now DASH is available as SDK from QDN: https://developer.qualcomm.com/software/lte-broadcast-sdk 

I have download it but don't know how to use it? Could you help to teach us how to use(install) it??

Dear Iderson,

   MSDC_UI.apk is already built with DASH SDK.

 

The SDK posted on QDN should be used to develop your own UI.
