When I try to run C:\Qualcomm\Hexagon_SDK\3.1\tools\debug\usb\setup.exe

The Qualcomm USB port is not getting installed.

Im using Windows 10 Pro OS

what error does setup.exe throw ?

There is no error message popped. just that qualcomm port is not showing in the list of uSB as

suggested in the readme file.

May I know the target you are using ? If it is 8998 can you try with 3.2 SDK

Im using Open-Q 820 Dev kit (APQ8096) ...MSM8996

I am having the exact same problem in the same device and in WINDOWS 10. This is what I get when running com_finder.py

C:\Qualcomm\Hexagon_SDK\3.2\scripts>com_finder.py
 
        No comm port found for Qualcomm HS-USB Device
 
In the device manager hardware ID this is what I see :
USB\VID_0BDA&PID_57DE&REV_0014
USB\VID_0BDA&PID_57DE
 
However, when clicking in update driver software I can only see USB composite device.
 
I tried uninstalling and installing the driver setup but I get the same results
