HI,
during installation on Ubuntu14.04, i got the following pop-up error,
"Unable to connect to the internet."
and the install log says that I need to download the following 3 packages,
- Eclipse
- Android NDK
- Hexagon Tools
but Dependencies_Common.html tells me that I need to make contact with Qualcomm,
and here i am.
coud anyone tell me where i can find the Hexagon Tools for v3.0?
thanks,
Please install Hexagon SDK 3.1 from https://developer.qualcomm.com/software/hexagon-dsp-sdk/tools
Hexagon Tools are bundled in 3.1.
Hexagon SDK v3.1 installer for Linux does not worrk correctly, after the installation,
<HEXAGON_ROOT>/tools is stored only, everything else such as build, docs, incs, libs... not installed in the same directory.
for windows installer, works good though.
Can you try installing sdk in other than home directory something like /local/mnt/workspace.
It may fail due to Home directory space limitation on linux.
Make sure you clean up your /tmp directory before you run installer
thanks for the reply!!! appreciate it!!!!
tried, and yet it's the same result.
can you give me your /tmp directory size
df -h
Looks like the installer on qdn is corrupted, I will get back to you on this
thanks for the quick response.
will wait for your update then.
Its fixed now, can you try now ?
The LINUX installer for Hexagon 3.1 ws initially corrupted and did not properly install the tools. Pelse try and download the 3.1 SDK again from QDN and reinstall
now, the installation for Hexagon SDK 3.1 linux seems like okay.
i did compile the DSP code and simulated it on the SDK.
FYI, my environment is Ubuntu14.04.
thanks for your effort.
