hi

when i tried to launch eclipse today an error message got generated saying

"locking is not possible in the directory c:qualcomm/Hexagon_sdk/1.2.2/tools/eclipse/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi. A common reason is that the file system or runtime environment doesnot support filelocking for that location.Please choose a different location or disable file locking passing "Dosgi.locking=none" as a VM argument c:qualcomm/Hexagon_sdk/1.2.2/tools/eclipse/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/.manager/.filetable.11(Access is Denied)

 

Please suggest a solution for this.

Hi,

    The problem is with the permission for locking files which are present inside eclipse directory.
