Hi,
I recently upgraded to Hexagon SDK version 1.1.0 on my DragonBoard 8074 running BSP 1.2. Since upgrading I'm now seeing IO exceptions from QcrilMsgTunnelSocket every 4 seconds in LogCat as follows:
01-02 08:04:00.620: E/QcrilMsgTunnelSocket(9220): IOException - java.io.IOException: No such file or directory Reason: No such file or directory
I'm not sure what QcrilMsgTunnelSocket is and I don't know if this is affecting anything else, but it makes looking back at my application's LogCat output a lot more annoying. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Does anyone know what this program is or how to fix it?
Thanks,
Adam
I'm getting exactly the same thing, it's a bit troubling but it doesn't seem to be doing any harm. Wouldn't say no to a solution though.
I just found a thread over on mydragonboard.org adressing this problem: http://mydragonboard.org/community/hw-sw-8074/qcrilmsgtunnelsocket-io-exception-with-sdk-1-1-0/ The solution they have over there worked for me.
You should be able to avoid this using filters with logcat. RIL is not valid on DragonBoard as it is APQ platform only, no modem support.
