I was trying to flash the Rb5 board using the documentation provided with readme, I have reated a 18.04 ubuntu docker using the docker file and the inside docker launched SDK manager & tried creating the system image and gor blow log at the end.

Found 1 files
Backing up '../rawprogram0.xml' to 'rawprogram0.xml.bak'
SUCCESS: Created "rawprogram_unsparse0.xml"
Moving sparse images to full_build ...
Move sparse images to full_build ...done
You may proceed to flash full_build to your device
But when I tried to connect the device as metioned in flash images link here, Not able connect the device and getting below error message as shown below
> help
help = Show usage help for LU platform
1 = Download LU resources and generate system.img with current release
2 = Flash full build (require system.img generation first)
q = exit sdk manager
> 2
Flash full build to Robotics device
The flash process will take about 5 minutes
Current image version to be flashed: QRB5165.
Enter 'y' to continue, 'q' to main menu: y
Could not find a Qualcomm device in QDL mode
Please follow the README and reconnect your device
Can you please say, what I am doing wrong

I am now able to connect the board and able to start the flash, but at the end I am getting below error

Writing log to '/mnt/qualcomm/new_board_tools/new_docker_img_files/QRB5165.', might take a minute
Log is '/mnt/qualcomm/new_board_tools/new_docker_img_files/QRB5165.'
*** buffer overflow detected ***: sdkmanager terminated
Aborted (core dumped)
Why I am getting this?

I recommend checking out our comprehensive Wiki guide. It covers several ways to flash the RB5 board step-by-step and it has a Troubleshooting section with the QDL mode error you are getting.

You can find the Wiki guide at the following link:
