Problem: In about 5 minutes of non-activity, the HDMI output stops completely and does not come back on unless you remove and reconnect power. If the camera is running a stream, it does not stop. Only the HDMI output stops (perhaps the keyboard and mouse have stopped, too).

1. How do you set this HDMI timeout/delay?

2. FYI: setting the weston command option --idle-time=0 does not solve the problem. The HDMI display still shuts down.

Can you please edit the weston.ini file and change idle-time parameter to 0. This documentation can help you locate the ini file:
