I'm currently trying to rebuild the RB5 images in order to put customized configuration to the Linux kernel. According to the release note for QRB5165.LE.1.0, we need to set ARMLMD_LICENSE_FILE and the related tool path to build non-HLOS components. I wonder which tool specifically do we need ARM license. If we don't have license for ARM propriotory compiler, we cannot build the kernel image?

Hi ta.teng,

For non-HLOS components build such TZ,WALN, NPU ..., you should have ARM license, if you build HLOS which is Linux build, no ARM licnce are required.

Thanks

Kevin
