Hello.
I failed to submit a support case via CreatePoint - it is too complicated to fill all the required fields there...
That's why I decided to post my questions here.
Currently we are developing a EVB of a product based on QCA4020 chipset. Unfortunately we've run into several problems we can't solve without your support:
1. It is stated in the 80-y9381-7_f_qca402x_qapi_specification.pdf that minimum UART speed is 115200. Is it really that high? What if we need 9600 baud speed via UART - it won't work?
2. What pins could wake M4 core from DeepSleep - only WL_WKUP_BE pin or any IRQ pin with enabled interrupt in advance?
3. Different revisions of QCA4020 device specification declare different pins to be used as a source of wakeup from the network processor to the M4. One says it is GPIO_12_WL, other one - GPIO_18_WL. Which one is correct?
4. QCA4020 device specification says GPIO6_BE has no UART mapping, but reference design has this pin labelled as QZ_UART_RX_MCU. Which document should we believe?
Thanks in advance for your answers!
Max.
1. UART Baud rate - 9600 is supported.
2. M4 core wake up - WL_WKUP_BE will work, and other IRQ pins as well. Needs to be set up correctly in SW.
3. Wake up pin - GPIO18_WL is the correct one and is reflected on the latest version of device spec 80-WL501-1 rev E. GPIO12_WL was a typo.
4. GPIO6 UART mapping - GPIO6 is indeed UART Rx. Each GPIO has multiple alternate function mapping and we don't expose all of them.
