Hi,

Five easy questions regarding the QCA4020:

1. Could you provide the QID number of Bluetooth stack?

2. Is the internal Bluetooth Stack compatible with classic specification? In affirmative case which are the supported profiles?

3. Is possible to communicate with the integrated RF transceiver via HCI to integrate our own BT stack including the Classic specification?

4. Which is the recommended IDE and compiler?

5. Is all the documentation available in the download zone or have we to sign any NDA to unlock extra documentation?

Thanks

Hi scarfys,

1. Could you provide the QID number of Bluetooth stack?
QDID: 101527 (Controller)
QDID: 99710 (Host Stack)

2. Is the internal Bluetooth Stack compatible with classic specification? In affirmative case which are the supported profiles?
This chipset and host stack support only BLE not classic

3. Is possible to communicate with the integrated RF transceiver via HCI to integrate our own BT stack including the Classic specification?
Sorry, we currently don't support external BT host over HCI.

4. Which is the recommended IDE and compiler?
Default compiler is gcc and you can use Eclipse IDE. IAR IDE also can be used for SDK.
Please refer programmers guide and dev kit user guide.

5. Is all the documentation available in the download zone or have we to sign any NDA to unlock extra documentation?
Basically, most documents are available in the download zone.

Thanks
BR,
Jayden
