Hello , I am  trying to use the system event generated when a PIO is changed. It worked successfully with switch as input. But when I tried with output of an IR receiver , I find that that event is not getting generated. What is the minimum time a PIO change can produce system event?

You can get event ONLY when PIO is defined as an input.
IR input can be handled easily. we did it. See

Generally speaking the response of a PIO is pretty quick I would be suprised if its missing the event - theres two things weve learnt about PIOs on CSR

1. Make sure the voltage is above (or below) the threshold of the PIO. This usaully invloves tuning the Pull up/ pull down resistor.

2. There is a bug in the firmware some edges are ignored. Trying using a to trigger on both edges rather than one.
