Setting absolute address for array

Hi,

I want to be able to compile an array of constant values at a particular absolute location.  If I set the array to say address 0xE000, then I would expect after a flash dump to see my data at this particular location.

I suspect there is a compiler/linker directive to use like #pragma or something like that.  Can someone provide an example?

Thank you,

Erik

I'm bumping this because I really need this now.  Hasn't anyone done this?  I'm sure it requires some knowledge of gcc linker, but I'm just not that versed in it.
