Hello,
I am trying to bring-up my custom PCB which has CSR1010. I am trying to CSR1010 using CSR USB to SPI board (DK-USB-SPI-10225-1A).
CsConfig and xIDE gives me error the Hardware is not detected.
"*** Failed to detect hardware on Debug Transport 'SPITRANS=USB SPIPORT=0' Project property: Target Hardware 'CSR101x A05'. Stop."
Here are voltage readings from CSR1010 :
1. VDD_BAT (pin 1) = 3V
2. VDD_REG_IN (pin 6) = 2.08V
3. VDD_CORE (pin 5) = 1.82V
4. XTAL_16M_IN (pin 10) = 16MHz sine wave with peak-to-peak 740mV
5. XTAL_32K_IN (pin 3) => Here I am using a clockout from RTC as an input. Wave is : Square wave with peak-to-peak 3.28V
6. PIO[2] (pin 27) = 3V
Do voltage levels look correct? As per Hardware guidelines VDD_REG_IN should be : 1.35V~0.8V and VDD_CORE should be : 1.2V~0.65V
Thanks,
Sanika
1. It is electronic "not right " to send clock at peak-to-peak 3.28V to chip with power 3V.
2. Did you place SPI_PIO at high before flash code ?
you can call my Skype nissim.test
Yes, the SPI_PIO# is set to HIGH. I am programming using DK-USB-SPI-10225-1A which sets SPI_PIO# to HIGH.
What I have obesrved is if DEBUG_MISO is not connected to the programming board, it goes to HIGH when SPI_PIO# is set to HIGH.
Is this expected? Could this be causing issues in SPI programming?
Thanks,
Sanika
My issue has been resolved. I tried programming the other board and it is working.
My guess is something got shorted in my previous board as I had made some changes after the assembling was done.
The voltage levels of VDD_REG_IN and VDD_CORE on this new Board are within range given by CSR.
Thanks,
Sanika
