I'd love to try out the FastCV library for a new app I am working on.

Unfortunately, it seems the installer is an windows .exe file, which does not really play well on OSX.

What is the recommended path of getting the sample app running on OSX ?

Peter,

Thank you for your question.  The FastCV 1.0 SDK is currently only available for mobile developers looking to develop mobile applications on Android.  We are looking to support iOS developers soon, and plan to have a FastCV SDK available for iOS developers available in early 2012.

I'm not building for iPhone, I'm building for Android. BUT I am doing this on a mac computer - hence, the .exe installer is not usable to me.

Can I install it on OSX? The documentation states that this is possible - ideally, you should provide the files in a zip file

Do you know now more or less the date when you are going to release the ios SDK?

I´m researching different options to achieve AR in iPhone, but I need to know more or less a date to be able to choose one option in next weeks.

Gustavo,

Unfortunately we will not have an iOS SDK version available until the end of Q1-2012.  We will likely have an OSX based installer for our FastCV Android-SDK available early in 2012.
