Hi,

I'm wondering exactly what type of feature descriptor is being computed by "fcvDescriptor17x17u8To36s8" (other than that it's a 36D gradient based descriptor), I can't seem to find any reference to a name other than "NTF4", but that doesn't turn up any relevant search results. Is it something proprietary?

Thanks

Hi,

I guess it's related to the "PhonySift" method described in this paper:
