According to the descriptions on the Qualcomm website, FastCV and Snapdragon Camera SDK both deal with camera based image data processing, such as facial data analysis. So I wonder what the differences are and under what condition I should use which tool set.

The general rule is that if your main concern is image streaming from camera then Camera SDK is preferred. If you application has lots of offline image processing independent of camera, then FastCV should be used.
