Is it possible to do low-power hotphrase recognition for Android using the Hexagon SDK? I am a little confused about where to start? Anybody help would be much appreciated.

RSenApps,

The Hexagon SDK is an introductory software development kit that enables you to support a variety of use cases in audio,  imaging and video.  The speech use cases are not fully supported withe the SDK yet,  they are on the roadmap.  However,  you can develop a hot phrase recognition using the audio record API as an input to your processing,  it will just not exhibit the lower power that our Snapdragon Voice Activation (SVA) framework will support.

Hey could you update us on where/when/how to get access to the "Snapdragon Voice Activation (SVA) framework"?

i'd like to just play around with it. do i have to apply for it seperately? or is it only for OEMs?

Is there any update to this? Please don't tell me Qualcomm plans to limit this to OEMs and leave independent developers in the dust.

Low power hot phrase recognition on the DSP is now being launched in the upcoming version of Android,  Marshmellow.

It is not available to customize using the Hexagon SDK,  but is a special program with Google,  please contact for more information.

That's great. But when can we expect this release? And who do I contact for more information?
