Hi,
I am trying to find the source code of Androind 4.2 for the Qualcomm's MDP 800 Tablet, where can I get that?
I bought the device from Bsquare, but apparently they have stopped selling these and the support as well.
Any help is appreiciated.
Thanks!
Hello Ugupta,
Bsquare will be providing access to software downloads through the end of 2014. Just go to the Resource Center on the Bsquare website and sign in and you'll be able to access all of the existing software downloads.
Here is the link for their Resource Center:
https://store.bsquare.com/doc_download/

Thanks Rick! Here is a detailed method for those who want to get the source code for android in the future,
The first step is to download the android source in your local machine. I am using ubuntu.
1) Initialize/setup your computer as shown in this link: https://source.android.com/source/initializing.html
Unfortunately, OpenJDK doesn't work as it is mentioned in the link. You will need to install Oracle JDK, use the following link.
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13015899/android-build-error-due-to-i... (follow the procedure by Swapnil given in the link)
2) Now that you have the setup ready, follow this link to initialize and setup the repository for android:
https://www.codeaurora.org/xwiki/bin/QAEP/WebHome
You can get the latest manifest file number from this link: https://www.codeaurora.org/xwiki/bin/QAEP/release
Now you have the source code. But please be cautious to use flashboot to burn a new system.img image onto the MDP platform, my platform is having some issues, hopefully we will resolve them with Bsqaure and then I can update this page.
Happy sourcing,
Ujjwal
