Hi,

I tried to running snpe sdk native sample on Moto X40 (snapdragon 8 Gen 2) phone.

When I run 'snpe-platform-validator --runtime aip', it shows 'SNPE AIP runtime not supported on this SoC'. But if run '--runtime dsp', it works fine.

Does Moto X40 (snapdragon 8 Gen 2)  support snpe aip runtime?  Qualcomm said "Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is the world's first and only mobile platform with a dedicated 5G AI processor."

My SNPE version is 2.5.0.4052

Can anyone help me? Thanks.

From 888,  hardware is refactored .  AIP hardware was removed.

You can think HTA integrate into DSP and it become a super DSP.  8Gen2 DSP is 10x ~ 20x  powerful than 870/865.

You can use choose dsp runtime in 8 Gen 1/2 or future mobile/IOT/AUTO hardware.
