Does MV SDK work on APQ8053 like the following board?

Thanks

The short answer is probably not.

It might work on that board when running Yocto Linux but definately will not work on Android.  Even on Linux, it is likely that there might be some missing/wrong version of an OS library compared to those we build against.  If there is a commercial need however, let your QCOM representative know and it would be easy enough to port to.

Thanks for the prompt response!

We'are looking for a development kit to do some tests before we make a decision. Are there any other boards that have been tested except the Flight Pro?

We have used the MV SDk on the internal version of the platform you mention:

running Linux and it just worked from the OS library standpoint.  However, I am unsure if the internal version runs the same OS as the Intrinsyc official release.  Still, high probability that it would work in that regard.  There was some work required on the Computer Vision side because the sensor timestamping was not as good for that platform, we had to turn on MV's support for rolling shutter cameras and get that tuned in as well, and then the narrow FOV camera made it only a "demo" quality for at least VISLAM.  So, I would not recommend that path unless you already have one and just want to try it out.
