We have captured GPU memory statistics information from snapdraon profiler by running benchmark tools (AnTuTu , GFX) on SDM 845 HDK and we got export traces for the following dats for GPU memory statistics as below:
1. Average bytes/fragments
2. Average bytes/vertex
3. read total (bytes/second) -
4. sp memory read (bytes/second)
5. texture memory read (bytes/second)
6. vertex memory read (bytes/second)
7. Write total (bytes/second)
We are more interested in knowing description of items 3 & 7 from the above list. We mean, for Read total and Write total in bytes/second refers to DRAM/LPDDR system RAM bandwidth or GPU's internal memory bandwidth. Which bandwidth is it referring to is our major concern? Could you please elloborate more on the description of Read/Write total (bytes/second) from GPU memory statistics on snapdragon profiler triggered for SDM 845 HDK.
Is there any other profiler available from Qualcomm to measure explicitly DRAM/LPDDR system RAM bandwidth for snapdragon 845 based processor? Kindly respond to this query as we are looking very urgent to get system RAM bandwidth on SDM 845 HDK

The items you asked about refer to the GPU's memory bandwidth. Unfortunately there is no profiler available that measures the total system RAM bandwidth.

We understand your concern but we really seek your technical support to sort out this. Maybe, we can have official call to sort out this and if possible, could you share your official contact no to have more detailed discussion since this request is very important to us.
Since we purchased SDM 845 from your authorized vendor, we request your support to provide solution for the same. We may not be able to progress our project activities until we get a solution for CPU metrics which we desire to look for DRAM performance and it really matters a lot to us.
So, Kindly take this request to utmost priority which is of a serious concern to our project execution and please suggest us in enabling options to get the desired metrics from CPU and additionally, we also look for the below metrics as well from snapdragon profiler.
->R/W byte size from each DRAM channels
->DRAM memory addresses where CPU/GPU/DSP actually reads from/writes to.
-> Overall R/W bandwidth of all DRAM channels consumed by CPU/GPU/DSP all together
-> Avg. memory latency cycles from GPU memory statistics
-> We do see only system memory usage but not really DDR frequency under "system memory tab" in snapdragon profiler.
Kindly revert back to us with your comments for the above concerns as early as possible since this request is highly critical with respect to top management's view.
