Hi -- I'm trying to use Snapshot Capture on a Galaxy S8+(SM-G955N) running Android 8.0.
SnapDragon Profiler V 2018.2.0.10032018 running on Windows 7.
Based on the documentation, it appears as if it should be supported, but is greyed out in the UI.
I've tried Andreno Profiler but after take a snapshot,it crashed. seems 805 is newer.
my adb version
- Android Debug Bridge version 1.0.40
- Version 4986621
- NDK Version android-ndk-r16b.
My App is an Unity ont , all uses-permission is OK, and I have verified that I've started the Profiler before starting my app.
I presume it means what it says with regard to my phone's Android build not being supported, but I'm not sure why it should not be supported or how to convince it that it is supported.
After using cmd adb shell getprop ro.build.date.utc
it returns 1524016076
and after using cmd adb shell ls /system/vendor/lib/egl
it returns libGLES_mali.so
Disabled compatibility check, snapshot inspector can be opened but list of available processes is empty
After Launch my application, give me a tip No eliglible Processed found.
Any advice/tips necessary to get this Snapdragon Profile + Snapshot capture working?
Look forward to your favourable reply Thanks.

Any advice/tips necessary to get this Snapdragon Profile + Snapshot capture working? Need Help~~~
Hi,
Unfortunatley there is an issue with the GPU driver on the Galaxy S8 that prevents Profiler's GPU functionality. As this is a driver issue there is nothing we can do in Profiler to address the problem, and driver updates are controlled by Samsung.
Eric
I can get realtime data but also cannot capture.
Just wondering if this is still the case? Has anything been improved on the samsung front?
