I have A Android Phone with Qualcomm 835:

"King of Android Phone, King of the Mobile and the first of Smart Phone, Phone of the Seven Kingdoms, Khaleesi of the Open Source, Mhysa, Breaker of Programers, the Breakable, Son of Google,  Google Pixel2" Phone

Google Pixel2 has a 835 CPU

but is has no SNPE GPU/DSP Runtime Support

builder.isRuntimeSupported(NeuralNetwork.Runtime.GPU) Return false

it's all new Pixel2 phone running android 8.1

how can i run GPU Mode for Pixel2, Pixel2 can run sNPE in GPU Mode?

or Pixel2 is not support SNPE?

Google kills any support for OpenCL or DSP on their devices and you are stuck with CPU only with SNPE.

Hi Rex,

Thanks for your answer! But I'd like to have a double verification, is this "kills DSP support" information from Google or Qualcomm? (this forum doesn't markout people with solid knowledge...)

Thank you

Qualcomm BSPs include OpenCL and DSP Bridge support by default for their chipsets. The OEM is responsible for including/removing these drivers so in this case Google must have specifically removed OpenCL and DSP bridge support not Qualcomm.
