Hi

I just start to use QCA4020 kit.

I am following the steps in document 80-ya121-140-qca402xcdb2x_development_kit_user_guide.pdf.

In section 3.5.2 on page 21, I run

build.bat prepare qca4020 cdb, I can’t manage to create the export folder in the src directory.  Instead, I got this in the screen…

awsiot
Online demo build script help:
build.bat [RTOS (FreeRTOS = f, ThreadX = t)] [chipset variant (4020, 4024)] [Onb
oarding mode] [Radio] [Supported mode] [board variant (CDB = cdb)]
Select the options for Onboarding mode, Radio, Supported Mode as below
 Onboarding mode:   1.BLE 2.WIFI
 Radio:   1.ZIGBEE 2.THREAD
Thread Supported mode:   1.JOINER ROUTER 2.JOINER
 Zigbee Supported mode:   1.COORDINATOR 2.ENDDEVICE
Example: build.bat t 4020 1 1 1 cdb

I also tried

build.bat prepare

build.bat prepare 4020 cdb

They are all the same.

Another thing is that on section 3.5.3.1 on pave 22, it says that copy the jar file (QCA402x_plugin.jar) to the dropin folder under Eclipse IDE installed folder.  Above the line it says that the jar file is available at /target/quartz/demo/EclipseSupportFiles.

But when I go into the folder EclipseSupportFiles, I can’t find QCA402x_plugin.jar file.  In fact, there is not .jar file at all.

Am stuck in the above 2 steps and can’t proceed.

Are you able to help me on these?

Hope to hear from you soon.

Regards,

Nelson

Hi,

build.bat prepare will not work in case of onboard demo.
When you provide the build command, by default the prepare step is included " Example: build.bat t 4020 1 1 1 cdb".
This will create the export folder inside src directory.

Hi Raja,

Thanks for coming back.

How about the QCA402x_plugin.jar file?  Where can I find it?

Regards,

Nelson

Apologies for the delay in response.

We will be releasing updated QDN SDK release with missing QCA402X_plugin.jar file shortly.
