Hi,

When I try to install SnapdragonDebuggerForVSInstaller.exe, I get "Android NDK isn't installed!"

How can I fix the problem and continue with the installation?

Thanks,

Tomer

Hi Tomer,

The Snapdragon Debugger installer looks for an environment variable called NDK_ROOT, which should point to the root directory of your NDK installation. It looks for a file in that directory named ndk-gdb.py. If the variable or that file are not found then you will get the error you mentioned.

Unfortunately, in newer versions of the NDK the ndk-gdb.py file has been moved to a directory further down the NDK tree. There is now a file called ndk-gdb.cmd in the root. Snapdragon Debugger has not been tested with these newer versions of the NDK, so my only recommendation is to use an older version that still has ndk-gdb.py in the root dir. I'm sorry but I don't know which release of the NDK moved that file.

Eric
