'ALU / Fragment' is different in trace/snapshot mode

I captured data of the same rendered scene in both trace mode and snapshot mode.  But there is a difference in 'ALU/Fragment' between the two types of data. In snapshot mode, I sum 'ALU/Fragment' data of all the drawcalls up. In trace mode, I sum them of one single frame up. When I change the size of the surface, the trace data follows the changes, but the snapshot data is almost unchanged. It seems that the trace data is more accurate. I wonder why?
