The Sensor Low Power Island (SLPI) or SSC, outsources sensor tasks to an external DSP, for Snapdragon CPU's this is the Hexagon DSP.

The DSP manages the hardware abstraction layer (HAL) for these sensors (eg. acceleration sensors).

My question is this:

- Are the drivers "hard coded" into the Hexagon firmware?

-Or are they loaded via FastRPC ?

I would like to change the fullscale of the sensors to increase sensitivity. Is this possible to access these driver function n the Hexagon DSP from Android?
