I am going to port rather computing-intensive audio processing C code for the SDM845 platform and have some questions about the aDSP architecture/performance, in particular:
- Is it simular to the cDSP, only without the HVX, or a completely different processor/configuration?
- What about the clocking frequency, floating-point support (scalar or vector), number or scalar HW threads and other performance-critical characteristics? It seems like the documentation in Hexagon SDK 3.3.2 focuses mostly on cDSP HVX performance and architecture for the recent SDM845 platform, and I have difficulties finding exact and complete info about its aDSP.
Could anyone give me some indications or send me a link to a good thorough description of the aDSP on the new SDM platforms?
