OMX doesn't work on samsung S4(android 4.3)

I have written a demo which implements the video encoding/decoding using OMX follows the sample "qcom_video_codec_sample_1_4", it works fine on my SamSung Galaxy S4(chip is MSM8960). But when I upgrade my S4 to android 4.3, the demo crashes.

In the "qcom_video_codec_sample_1_4", I find this line "As of this writing, the solutions provided by this document can only run on Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7x30, MSM8x55,MSM8x60, and MSM8x74 handsets running Android 2.2  through Android 4.2.  " 

I wonder is there a newer version of example which can run on MSM8960 running Android 4.3 or newer?
