Get PCycle while running in device

I am trying to run the downscaleBy2 example in MDP810 device. In the simulator, I can see the PCycle number by using "hexagon_sim_read_pcycles" function from which we can calculate time. But in device, direct time is given in microsecond and it varies in each run. How can I get the PCycle number in device like the simulator instead of time?
