Hi,
I was performing some experiments with matrix multiplication. Usually when I pass the information that the array pointer parameters cannot alias through the restrict keyword, I get a big jump in performance. I have observed this performance improvement on the TI C64X+ DSP. But I dont get this performance improvement with the Hexagon DSP. Is this expected behaviour ?
Ideally I would have expected that with the knowledge that the array pointers cannot alias the compiler can schedule better.
