LLVM 3.5 is slower in the NDK sample?

I am building a app form NDK Samples (hello-neon)

I am using eclipse to build using NDK.

I have downloaded llvm 3.5 and put it in toolchains folder in ANDROID NDK folder.

Application.mk is as below:

NDK_TOOLCHAIN_VERSION :=snapdragonclang3.5
APP_ABI := armeabi-v7a
NDK_VERSION=r9d
APP_PLATFORM := android-18
APP_STL := gnustl_static
 
It is slower than I change to NDK_TOOLCHAIN_VERSION :=4.8
 
snapdragonclang3.5 is also slower than c version.
 
I test this on HTC M8 (Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 801)
 
Any Suggestions?
