We are trying to pair the QCA4020 with a Nordic BLE sensor advertising at a 5 second interval.  The QCA4020 has a scan window/interval set at 5300/5300ms.  The QCA4020 fails to recognize the sensor during a BLE scan a very high percentage of time.  If we increase the  sensor advertisting interval to 1 second the QCA4020 scan success rate goes up signficantly but the sensor battery life is unncessarily degraded.  Have anyone else observed this behavior?  If so, what option(s) are available to increase the BLE scan success rate for devices with longer advertising intervals?
