Masking of the BLE in CSR Mesh

Hi team, 

I want to mask the channel 39 of one of the BLE in CSR mesh. We tried using the manual for that which suggested this. 

xxxxxxx1b  Enable channel 37 use
xxxxxx1xb  Enable channel 38 use
xxxxx1xxb  Enable channel 39 use

00000111b Default (all channels enabled)

We updated the one BLE chip in question but it didn't mask it. We could still read the advertisements from channel 39. 

Did we miss something?
