Hi,

My company is looking for a Wi-Fi audio module which is using the AR9374 chipset from Qualcomm: http://www.qca.qualcomm.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/AR9374.pdf

We have the following requirements for the module:

  1. -AirPlay & DLNA fully compliant (there should be no issue at the certification point). Therefore there should be i2C pins reserved by default  for an Apple Authentication Chip.
  2. -Include Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
  3. -Have a UART interface in order to receive commands from the central MCU. This will enable the Wi-Fi configurations (WPS & the alternative configuration solution via an app or a web browser)
  4. -Be able to perform updates of the module via Wi-Fi
  5. -Optional/Bonus: Internal DAC in order to send the digital audio signal to the central MCU via I2S channel which will redirect it to the audio processing part of the PCB.
  6. -Optional/Bonus: Include Spotify Connect or other Internet radio multi-room solutions
  7.
We would need to find a fully developed module this week if possible in order to do a decision since we want to prototype by mid-December.

Thank you,

Julien Tupula
