I'm trying to figure out why something isn't rendering properly anymore. My natural instinct is to do a scrubber capture from the last good build, and compare it side by side to a capture of the broken build. This should definitely be possible (2 profiler instances, each showing one frame), but the profiler flat out refuses to open multiple instances.
I get that allowing multiple instances introduces problems due to there being only one device, but can't you allow extra instances in "offline mode" or something? Only one instance needs to connect to the device at a time. I'd be fine saving an APR file from each run separately, and opening them separately (no device connection needed). Then I could run down the render calls side by side and see where the frames start diverging. As it stands, I need to open capture A, close A, open B, close B, open A, etc. Very time consuming!
Thanks
